THINK Together receives landmark $8.5 million gift
to expand after-school programs

Donald Bren, Chairman of The Irvine Company has announced an $8.5 million gift to enable the expansion of THINK Together’s academic focused after-school programs in Southern California.  Specifically the funds will benefit students in school districts in Santa Ana and eastern Los Angeles County.

Currently THINK Together serves more than 20,000 students every school day during the after-school hours.  The gift from Mr. Bren will help to ensure that at least an additional 10,000 students will be enrolled in THINK Together’s after-school programs beginning in the Fall of 2008.
