Kathleen Sanchez named new Multimedia Communications Specialist

Kathleen Sanchez has been chosen as the new Multimedia Communications Specialist for the Marketing and Communications Department.

In addition to being the Manager of Volunteers for Los Angeles County at THINK Together, where Kathleen manages and places about 350 high school, college, and community volunteers at 59 school sites, she is a skilled communicator who is well-versed in media relations, writing, photography, videography and social media.

“We are fortunate to have someone of Kathleen’s caliber to add to our Marketing and Communications team,” said Tony Dodero, Director of Marketing and Communications at THINK Together. “Her experience in social media, photography and videography will help take us to the next level.”

Kathleen started with THINK Together as a program leader in 2006 and prior to being named Manager of Volunteers she worked for three years as a Human Resources Coordinator. Her knowledge of THINK Together and experience in both programs and HR administration make her a valuable addition to the Marketing and Communications team as THINK Together builds a strong external and internal communications function.

In her new role as Multimedia Communications Specialist, Kathleen will be maintaining our social media pages and posts. She will also help manage our photo, video, and article database to use for internal and external audiences, as well as develop methods for retrieving photos/video shot in the field. Furthermore, Kathleen will be keeping our communications list up-to-date for partners, donors, alumni, staff, etc.

“I really look forward to supporting our Marketing and Communications Department in this new and exciting role,” said Kathleen. “I can’t think of nothing more rewarding than hearing, sharing, and posting our success stories. Being able to serve THINK Together in this capacity is truly a dream come true for me!”
