Colton teen just can’t stop volunteering

photoDiana Paniagua has volunteered at Birney Elementary in Colton for a year.  Diana helps students with homework and different enrichment activities. She has contributed over 200 hours even though she originally was only supposed to volunteer for 30 hours.  Diana has received the silver Presidential Service Award.  And she was recently recognized at Arrowhead United Way’s Teens Make a Difference Day.  Teens Make a Difference Day is an annual award recognition ceremony designed specifically for high school students who complete 25 or more hours of community service at non-profit organizations.
